The History of Where Creativity Rains

In the late summer, early fall of 1998, the first Ones and Zeros began to fall for Digital Rain Productions. For myself, Rodney Myers, those "drops" were a little idea that permeated my mind until they puddled together. I have spent years in Video Production, but becoming dissatisfied with a future that would I would always be working for someone. Some of my jobs afforded me the challenges of management, and a great product was all I needed. Besides persistence, the most important tool to have when you run your own business is flexibility. Digital Rain, llc was begun to create and deliver video to Internet, Intranet, CD-ROM, and DVD Viewers. While most people's home connections are not "up to speed" for video deliver, the raindrops of Digital Rain, llc blew in a different direction. In August of 2000, discussion began on a new project, one that was fitting for a struggling small business. After weeks of discussion and scriptwriting, in March of 2001, principle videography for the "Live Your Dreams" Project was on its way. By August of that same year, Michelle Venturella's "Live Your Dreams", a fundamental, instructional Hitting and Softball Video had been completed, and ready for sale. Digital Rain, llc had found niche, the female sports education market, and hopes to grow further. The Live Your Dreams project led to the production of a "Tech Video" for the Louisville Slugger Company, promoting the sales of its softball products through education of its re-sellers. The project was produced in the spring and early summer on 2002. Meanwhile, on the Internet side, Digital Rain, llc created, and still maintains the web site for the Indianapolis Chapter of Cruiser Club, USA. A Family oriented motorcycle riding club. The facilities of Digital Rain, llc have also expanded, with the recent addition of a Matrox Digisuite Edit System, and a Panasonic DVCPro Deck, available for rent. At the dawn of 2003, Digital Rain keeps falling with projects set to be released this year. Discovering another niche to be filled: quality statewide programming. digital Rain, llc hopes to become the leader in Indiana Programming Production, creating its own ideas, as well as being a resource for others to produce material beneficial to this country's nineteenth state. Digital Rain, llc has been like a child to me, and has matured much faster than I could have anticipated, and all I see is more ones and zeros falling in the future.
